Another one was Ubay ibn Ka’b, whom Sahih Bukhari identifies as best teacher of Quran. When time came to gathering of Quran these scholars were not agree with the final Quran, they even were not agree with each other. Ibn Mas’ud only had 111 chapter. Utimaelty, ibn Mas’ud and Ubay ibn Ka’b were not agree with Quran of Zaid. Sahih Muslim number 2286, says large section of Quran got lost. Even these changes were not all about up to Zaid. Even after Zaid Qurans are varied until now. Dr, Nabeel Qureshi mention in an interview that there were 80 types of Hafs and Asem up to 1923-1925. And one type was picked by royal publisher of Quran in Egypt. And made it look ancient and published to distribute in the world. And if you take the Quran that is in your home and try to find anything like it from ancient time you cannot find them, the earliest match will be the one from 1925.
