Did Star Zero apologize? This is the question most critical minds asked, after the meeting of the United Sierra Leoneans in collaboration with the Ministry of Youths Affairs that brokered the peace talks between one of Sierra Leone’s veteran Rap Musicians Wilhemina John popularly known as Willy Jay who is also an awardee of the Grand Order of the Rokel of the President of Sierra Leone, and Linda Samai also referred to as Star Zero a recent winner of the Laake entertainment hip-hop award, as the best female hip-hop rapper and best hip-hop entertainer , whom had clashed since the close of last year, following the release of a song Star Zero did, which was alleged to have attacked the personality of Willy J and further trashed her credibility, leading to a Court indictment. Addressing the musicians, forma Honorable Nuru Deen Sankoh Yella admonished, the two female rappers to forget about their differences and concentrate on developing the music industry in the country. Apologizing to the country, Star Zero accepted that she hurt the people of Sierra Leone as a result of the song she did, but called on all to note that they are women and it is normal for them to conflict over simple matters, ‘’people nor go see you wae troway pisses nar water, but den go see you wae go take am’’ Star Zero lamented. Accepting the peace settlement, Whilly Jay thanked the United Sierra Leoneans for their intervention into their misunderstanding, and further called on all Sierra Leoneans to accept Star Zero’s apology. Cementing the peace between the two celebrities, the Honorable Minister of Youth Affairs, Honorable Alimany Kamara, said he is satisfy with the manner the peace was achieved and further noted to them that they are suppose to be friends and not enemies inorder to ensure the growth of the music industry in Sierra Leone.
