Did a trail run this morning. First 1 sans snowshoes in a few months. After all the thaw/freeze cycles the last few days the trails were solid especially with temps in the low 20s this morning... my studded trail shoes did help keep me uprite...LOL. The 1st hr was in heavy lake effect snow then the second hr alternated between brite sun & snow... it was beautiful! It was rather windy but as usual, my beard did its job well... LOL. Looking @ the forecast, I think Ill get a few more days of ice running :-) choc chip pancake time now ....
