Did an astronomy program at the Bullitt County Scout reservation tonight for cub scouts. Came home a little tired, but the moon was so lovely I went outside and sat in a chair on my observing pad.. The UPS jets were stacked up and coming in right above. Experimented with some very high ISO setting as in the first image. My familiar was with me. She won’t go out in the dark unless I am there also. She sat beside me for awhile, but then wondered away. Later I noticed something moving on top of the back fence. It was her of course, patrolling the perimeter of the yard. The building with the sodium vapor light is a hanger at the airport behind me and is about 75 yard away.
