Did an emergency stop (on a clear road with no vehicles behind me) today to avoid running over and killing a baby squirrel whod been foraging for food and was obviously so happy with his/her food that a big black car meant nothing and a stupid woman who was a pedestrian began shouting at me that I should have hit it and killed it because it was vermin - I think she was a little shocked when I pulled over and walked up to her face and told her in no uncertain terms that I dont advocate animal cruelty (ie deliberately running them over when I can safely stop without harming the animal or anyone else) and that humans are the worst vermin of the lot! Word of warning - if you see me driving, dont go shouting at me unless I do something that endangers you or your loved ones as I WILL pull over and I WILL face you over it - I was a pushover as a kid, Im not one now.
