Did anyone else see Larry Weishuhn on TV today? Sportsman channel. Deer hunting. I have watched and respected him for years. That came to a crashing end today. First let me say that what he did I do believe to be totally legal where he was. The hunt was winding down. His guide was driving the truck on what looked to be a private ranch dirt road. The guide spots a nice buck standing a little ways off the road. Looked like 100 yards or so. The guide stops and backs up. Larry, without even opening his door or getting out of his seat rests his rifle on the window frame of the truck door and boom! Shoots the deer! WTF! Has he become so desperate to produce TV that he is willing to demonstrate this apparently legal, but extremely unethical (in my opinion) method of shooting a deer? That is not hunting and the sportsman channel should be ashamed for even showing it! All you need is a vehicle and a gun. Hell you dont even need to change out of you good clothes and put on camo! That is about as close to legalized poaching as I have ever seen. I sent him a message on his Facebook page and if you all agree I urge you to do the same. I dont want kids growing up thinking you hunt from a truck. Get your asses out and put the boots on the ground! Consider this rant complete. Thanks.
