Did anyone else see the full sized drone over the airport midday - TopicsExpress

Did anyone else see the full sized drone over the airport midday on Thursday? It was not hobby size but rather had about a 12 foot wingspan. It looked like this photo but it had flipped up ends of the wings and no missile payload. I live near the airport so I am used to the engine sounds and looked up because the sound was more thin and buzzing than a normal aircraft. It either just circled the airfield or took off from there. I looked up too late to know for sure. I just saw the final circling and departure headed northwest. Since it remains illegal for civilians to fly a drone of this size, it made me curious. Thanks to any of you pilot/military types who may be able to shed some light on this observation.
