Did the Heritage Foundation just save the Country? No, I cant - TopicsExpress

Did the Heritage Foundation just save the Country? No, I cant believe Im typing that either. Boehner promised thered be a vote tonight on whatever crap measure the House GOP wanted to cook up to counter the Senate plan. (This would be the same crap measure, Harry Reid and the President promised was going nowhere, that was dead on arrival.) Still, Boehner pressed on with a bill that...well...no one has really seen, and apparently has been taken over by the House Suicide Caucus. So whatever you heard this morning Boehner and Cantor? Junk it, because its not radical enough. After the bill is drafted, its supposed to go to the Rules committee where the terms for debate are set. How many minutes, etc. Well...the Heritage Foundation just said theyd score this bill. What does that mean? Well, Heritage last week said they WOULDNT score a Clean Continuing Resolution. Translated into English: We wont hold it against any Republican voting FOR a Clean CR. You are free to vote your will. In fact, PLEASE vote for the Clean CR. And now, theyve turned around and said that WE WILL hold it against you if you vote for this Teabagger crap. And all of the sudden, tonights Rules Committee meeting has been CANCELLED. You cant bring something to the floor without a Rules Committee meeting. Boehner and Cantor just got the message. Theyre huddling up to see what they do next. Hopefully, it is to allow the Senate to finish dotting the Is and crossing the Ts, and come with the nearly clean CR and let everyone vote on it.
