Deval Patrick several reader submitted questions - Martin H.s question about high-speed commuter rail (the answer was complicated - but hes hoping to have something in place before he leaves office - negotiations are still in the works). We also asked Ellyn B.s question about whether or not he will run for president .... Hes toyed with the idea ... but his wife has told him he owes her a lot of quality time. Shane W. asked what was delaying medical marijuana dispensaries. We asked and the governor said he feels the state needs to do this right - theres a lot of money at stake and a fine line between what the state allows and the federal government says. Patrick said unless the state does it right, providing (this type of care) is not going to be possible. Tanya O. asked where the state was with the high speed Internet for Otis and the other Hilltowns. The governor said the major trunk was done and the project was in the town centers. Unfortunately, private biz has been slow to respond to take over the last mile of the project. Funding for the last leg is now in a bond bill.
