Did you ever wonder why Jesus said in (John 8:51) “If any man does my sayings he shall never see Death.” It doesn’t mean that you’re not going to die. I believe He’s saying that you will never see the death angel. When a child of God dies, the Death angle has no legal right to come for you, because when Jesus died He took the keys from Death and Hades it’s self! And the good angles come to escort you home to father’s house. When someone outside of God dies the Death angel has a legal right to come for him or her. Let me describe what I’m saying. Several years ago at Christ for the nations, as a student of Theology, my professor told me about a Vietnam vet who shared his experience with him. The vet said, “I can tell you about the angle of Death and what he looks like. In Nam, I stepped on a land mine and blew off my leg. I was lying on the battlefield, blood was pumping out of my leg and I saw the angel of Death coming for me. I went to Sunday school and knew enough about God.” And I screamed out “Jesus! Save me! Jesus! Save me! When I said those words, the angel of Death turned and left me, the blood stopped pumping out of my leg, and I’m alive today because I called on the name of Jesus! Again my professor at CFN told me of a missionary pastor in Newginne who was an intern at a hospital and administered analgesia. He said, “They had a witch doctor in the hospital lying on a table in front of me. This guy was called a Samgoma. He had killed many people with his curses. I was about to give him analgesia and as I knelt over his body he scared me and sat bolt up right on the table. He was looking at something over my left shoulder.” The pastor said, “I never seen terror on a man’s face, but he was screaming at whatever he saw, and he said, ‘No! Not yet! No! Not yet!’ The pastor continued, “Whatever was behind me, I felt that evil presents come over my shoulder and down into his face. All of a sudden he just closed his eyes, laid his head back, and I took his pulse and he was gone!” Do you know what he saw? He saw the angle of Death.
