The 30-year-old man was walking along Park Road just after midnight on Thursday, November 28, when he was approached by two men near the Ketteringham Store. One of the men punched him to the floor before the other man kicked him. The victim was treated for slight injuries. The first attacker was white, 62, in his 20s, muscular, had fairly long dark hair and wore a red hooded top and jeans. The second man was white, 511, in his 20s, slim, had fairly long blond hair and wore a blue hooded top, jeans and white trainers. Detective Constable Kerry Ward, who is investigating, said: This was a nasty attack on the victim who had been walking home after a night out. Im particularly keen to speak to a man in a car who pulled over to help the victim. Anyone who thinks they may have information about who carried out this assault should not hesitate to get in touch. Anyone with information should contact DC Ward on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
