Did you know?....If you are taking the following medications, you should not have pectin. It is an ingredient in some types of yogurt. Tetracycline antibiotics: *Some tetracycline antibiotics include; demeclocycline (Declomycin), minocycline (Minocin), and tetracycline (Achromycin). Digoxin (Lanoxin) Lovastatin (Mevacor) The label on the left is Mountain High plain/unsweetened. The label on the right is Chobani plain/unsweetened. Getting a clean yogurt is great, but some folks need to look a little closer at the labels depending on their individual needs. Personally, your yogurt should only have the milk required and the live and active cultures to include L. Acidophilus. I call it my Greek God. lol If the label only reads: Live and active cultures-Thats not enough. The bacterium must be listed. Live and active could simply indicate the product is past its prime if you really want to get down to it. LOL Mold is a live and active culture. Its deceiving. It needs to be the correct ones. Certainly nothing else should be on the label. No sugars or chemicals, colors, dyes, or fruit, natural or other flavors. Just milk and bacteria. The end. If you want to go farther down the rabbit hole, you will begin to address the GMO issue then organic after that. The object here was to indicate the proper ingredients to start so you can learn how to drill it down from scratch with what may be available in your area according to your needs. Yogurt balances the good bacteria in the gut. Sugar kills them. Do the math. Dont eat sugared yogurt.
