Did you know how the Crittenden County Justice Commission started; Quorum Court Justice Hubert Bass went solo and appointed and ordanined the then Civil Rights Advisory Board. Justice Hubert Bass took this action while serving as the PRESIDING OFFICER OR CHAIRMAN OF THE COURT October 17, 2011. Most of the County elected officials prayed that this Board would fail and went on record saying as much and that they wouldnt recognize the new appointed and ordained Board by the Courts Presiding Officer. Justice Bass response was swift...you saying you re not recognizing this Board is like saying; youre not going to recognize the sun...the Board and the sun are here to stay. The real problem is that none of those elected officials wanted independent oversight. Well the Crittenden County Justice Department is here and that oversight is on the way.
