Did you know that 1 in 7 households in our community go without enough food to feed their families daily? What is a Co-op? A Co-op is a group of people who pool their buying power to access needed items, with the convenience and savings of bulk buying. Offering low/middle income community members the opportunity to buy locally-grown and regional, organic & natural foods in a convenient way. Basket will be offered weekly, case orders are also available. All picks- up will be at the Boys & Girls Club 1227 Berryhill Street located in Harrisburg. You must pre order, orders need to be placed by Fridays, for pick-up the following Thursday. Donations for baskets are $18.50 Single or $30.00 Double. Please bring your own reusable bag or basket for your items. Each basket will have assortment of fruit and a mixture of vegetables. A basket may include: Broccoli Cauliflower Tomatoes Sweet Potatoes Onions Lemon/Limes Squash Citrus Bananas Grapes Mushrooms Potatoes Apples Cucumbers Lettuce Greens Turnips Beets Peppers Carrots Celery Cabbage Brussels sprouts Garlic Pears Spinach Asparagus Mango Berries Pineapple Beans Swiss chard Corn Melons Peas All proceeds help support our urban permaculture programs.
