Did you know that Jeremiah was called the Prophet of Doom? Jeremiah spent forty years of his life telling the people of Judah that something bad was going to happen to them! The folks of Judah were evil and they refused to give up their evil ways and listen to the Man of God. .... Which one of you would talk to anybody for forty years about their evil ways. You would give up and move on. ... After forty years, Jeremiah stood and looked at the city, he watched the destruction that he had told them about come true! Not only was Jeremiah a man of God, he was the Voice of God to the people of Judah....... People, God has put His Prophets among you. A true Prophet, inspired messengers of God, will speak what God is saying to the body of Christ, and as Children of God you should obey the voice of the Prophet......2 Chronicles 20:20 says, believe the Lord and you shall be established, believe his Prophets and you shall prosper. (read the whole 20th chapter)
