Did you know that VA has at least one chapel in every VA medical center, reserved for the worship, meditation and prayer of Veteran patients and their families? VA chaplains conduct regular worship services throughout the year, and special holiday observances, in accordance with the beliefs and faith traditions of the Veterans they serve. VA medical center Chaplain Services meet the religious and spiritual needs of Veteran patients of all faiths by providing pastoral care and counseling, worship, rites, ordinances and sacraments, and sometimes partnering with community clergy to do so.
