Did you know that more than 50% of friction in homes are caused by: 1. Wrong timing (when) 2. Wrong setting (where) and 3. Wrong tone (how)? There is one thing that those in the above situation have in common - Lack of Wisdom. Where there is crisis is not the devil but proof of a wisdom deficiency. When you lack wisdom, you lack answers. Wisdom is not only knowing what to do, but also doing it and the best thing to do in such situations is to ask the Giver, who gives freely and does not withhold (James 1:5). No matter how much you pray, fast, or study, a formidable family life cannot be built without utilising wisdom (proverbs 24:3). Using wisdom can diffuse even the most chaotic situations and a number of crisis taking place in homes now would cheaply be averted if most of us would just be real with ourselves and use it. You can never have too much wisdom so keep going after it as you require it, in order to construct an enviable home. It would make all the difference.
