It serves as a floating classroom, on which students learn not only about the history and the lives of their navigating ancestors, but also leadership skills, unity, and life-enhancing values that stay with them for the rest of their lives. We pray for the safety of the Iosepa and her crew as they voyage into the deep blue ocean, just as our Polynesian ancestors did, with Mother Nature as their Navigator. God speed!
