Here are three great volunteer opportunities with Blue Water Baltimore this month! • Saturday, December 6: Operation Nursery Blanket. You can help us prepare our native plant nursery for the long winter ahead! Our main focus will be on bundling up our plants so that they are insulated from the cold weather, but we may also be doing a little last bit of weeding, labeling, and moving. There are two shifts: 9 am to 12 pm and 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. • Sunday, December 7: Invasive Weed Pull, In Honor of Michael Beer. In honor of the life and work of Michael Beer, Blue Water Baltimore and the Friends of Stony Run are leading an invasive weed pull along the Stony Run from 1 pm to 3 pm. • Saturday, December 13: Tree Planting at Forest Park Golf Course. Get your hands dirty for clean water! Join Blue Water Baltimore for a volunteer tree planting! We will provide the trees, gloves, tools, and training. Visit bluewaterbaltimore.org/events/ to sign up.
