Didnt get the best news at Laylas doctor today.. There is a spot on her forehead that has been there for months and lately has grown a bit in size so theyre going to be doing an ultrasound on her head Thursday to see if they can figure out exactly what it is. She doesnt act like its bothering her at all but its got all of us worried. Another doctor in Mount Vernon is supposed to call me tomorrow to see if she can squeeze her in to take a look at it as well and give us a second opinion. So if everyone could please keep our Little Bear in your thoughts and prayers. Also, her motor skills are lacking but not so much that theyre too worried about it right at this moment. Theyre going to give her another month or so to start pulling up on things and trying to walk along things before addressing her to a specialist. Other than the bad news.. Shes in the 90th percentile of her weight and the 99th percentile of her length so apparently Im raising an Amazon baby lol. Also, her verbal skills are well past what a 1yr olds are. The doctor was really impressed by her extensive vocabulary and her ability to express her wants/needs. So I have an intelligent Amazon baby on my hands! Lol. Kinda wishing I had received all good news today but Im grateful that shes happy and healthy and Im sure the rest will work itself out!
