Didnt party hard last night but still having trouble getting motivated to study today. I suppose having to slog through forty pages of ancient art history will do that though... i can focus on the professors lectures much better than staring at text. As a break, for Follow Friday, Id like to feature some of the home team: Atlanta-based Betsy Bon Bon and Sarah Shortcake (cosplay group soon to be established) are friends, longtime cosplayers and regulars at Dragon*Con and Anime Weekend Atlanta. I was lucky enough to run into them during a late-night gaming session at the Hyatt Game Cavern at D*C and they were too kind to take blurry selfie with me at 1AM. Betsys Kongiku (Muramasa) was recently shared on SCG - Super Cosplay Girls n the UK, and I first made her acquaintance when she debuted her Rarity gijinka in 2011. Sarahs page is a bit newer although she and Betsy do *a lot* of team cosplay together. I first discovered her Fluttershy gijinka back in 2011. Sarah recently completed an Elf (Dragons Crown) cosplay and did an amazing photoshoot in it with Dim Horizon Studio. https://facebook/SarahsaurusCosplay https://facebook/BetsyBonBonCosplay Abby ADOS Cosplay is a fellow armor crafter & cosplayer, who also happens to be based out of the Atlanta area and is (you guessed it) friends with Sarah and Betsy. I first discovered her after she debuted her Samus armor (currently under repairs and refitting). She recently completed a Duskull gijinka with a very elegant long-sleeved black kimono. Id like to see it in person, as most photos wont show the texture and detail on black fabric. Before that, she (after much injury and paint experimentation) completed a Lamba-11 (Blazblue) cosplay complete with those crazy robot feet (constructed from MDF). https://facebook/AbbyADOSCosplay
