Difference between There / Their / They’re There refers to a place or idea. An example of its use referring to place is “Look over there!” An example of its use referring to an abstract idea is “There are many ways to skin a cat”. Their is possessive meaning it owns something, for example “Their dog keeps getting into our garden”. They’re is a contraction of “they are” (the apostrophe replaces the missing letter).
