Digging through the kindle, trying to make a choice of reading material. I have a variety of silver age comics, several items-for-review that Ive been overlooking for awhile, and three months worth of F&SF. Plus several new acquisitions. Offline, finished The Age of Spiritual Machines. Not Kurzweils best-argued work but interesting and sporadically mindbending. Easy chair book-in-progress is George R.R. Martins Armageddon Rag. Im also making a stab at the titular tune. Great read anyway. I was reminded of it when I read ...for a single yesterday, his excellent novelette from Epoch, a few days ago, and took it to the sleep clinic. Upstairs book is The Pritcher Mass, a minor-but-entertaining Gordon Dickson novel that I first read in the pages of Analog when I was in eighth grade.
