Even after the soap ended, she admitted they still spend time together and have spa dates since they are also celebrity endorsers of Chic Nails. “I’m the mommy of the whole group! Nakakatuwa because these kids are not really my anak kasi di ba naging anak ko sila sa teleserye? Pero we’re like sisters and we really hang out. Usually I’m with Julia kasi may ‘Thursdate’ kami niyan eh. Every Thursday we see each other at Chic Nails then mag-chichikahan kami then magpapa-nail spa kami. As in hanggang gabi, hanggang dinner kami inaabot (laughs),” she admitted. Dimples said that even though she and Julia have a ten-year age gap, they still find it easy to relate to each other. “Ang friendship namin ni Julia naging madali. Mahilig kami mag-usap. The nice thing is, we know that we come from different ages pero nag-ja-jive kami pareho because we both like to have fun and plus, we’re very family-oriented. I think that’s the key kasi she likes to talk about her family and I like to talk about my family. Naku ang daldal ko. Hindi na nga kami matapos tapos niyan kung hindi kailangan magtrabaho (laughs),” she said. The talented actress said she is very proud of all that Julia and Kathryn have accomplished after Mara Clara. “Our friendship has evolved because I’m so proud of Julia and she knows that. It’s not often I say it because pag magkaibigan naman kayo hindi mo naman nasasabi. Kasi for Clara, it was a very critical role kasi kailangan makawaan si Clara habang naiinis ka sa kanya and she did it so well. Everybody thought kahit kontrabida siya, parang gusto nila kontrabida na rin sila because of her. She’s that good. Siya and Kathryn, we hit it off so well that even if we were shooting every single day, it didn’t matter to us, it was so happy and it was so much fun. And Julia grew so much as a person. You cannot imagine how happy I was when I found out she already had her house. Nung 17 ako wala pa akong sariling bahay and I know how much she loves her family. Words cannot express how much love this woman has for her family. Maybe more than I do for mine. That’s how much,” she added. At 28 years old, Dimples said she doesn’t mind being pegged to do mostly mommy roles on television. “Yes I’m comfortable kasi siguro even when I was younger I already had that mother nurturing characteristic in me. Feeling ko nga rin even if hindi ako mommy ngayon, when I reach a certain age and they ask me to become a mom, I would’ve said yes. The reason I became an actress anyway was because I wanted to convey emotion so I’ll be able to help people forget about their problems and then also feel what they want to feel. What matters to me is to convey these emotions and sana tumatawid yun sa kanila. Somehow napapagaan mo yung mga buhay nila di ba?” she explained.
