Dinesh Singh has created a media sensation every semester by marching into colleges without notice with his posse and declaring that teachers are absent and following this up with making sure that teachers are issued suspension memos etc. I want to know who is in charge of marching into the offices of the VC and his team to see if they are in office, and if they are working or not? Or does autonomy mean that there are no checks and balances on the university administration? Is the VC along with his team on strike? If yes, what are there demands? If no, then how is it that he is not accountable to a higher authority for neither working nor speaking? Who should we go to in order to find out what is happening?
