Dinner turned out amazing. Its was great to have family and friends present. As I knocked out the main dish as well as a few sides I felt my mom hangin out with me as we most always did, since I am a control freak in the kitchen, helping direct what was next. We each wrote a message to mom as a tribute on a balloon(13) and released those to the heavens. It was amazing to watch as they literally staying in formation as they caught the thermals and flowed north and out of sight. Of course it would have been really weird to have gotten home tonight and found 13 balloons in my yard.
