Dirty Stop Outs are set to travel from as far away as London and Newcastle for an 80s reunion next month. Three quarters of the tickets have already been sold for EIGHTIES! THE BIGGEST REUNION... EVER which is being held at CFCs Proact Stadium on Saturday, April 5. The event, which celebrates the success of Neil Andersons Dirty Stop Outs Guide to 1980s Chesterfield book which became a local best seller last year, is set to see former Moulin Rouge DJ Dave Whyld return to the decks along with other music maestros from the era. Neil Anderson said: The first event we held at the Winding Wheel last year was a massive success and raised hundreds of pounds for Ashgate Hospice. Weve been inundated with requests to do another so the event returns in a new venue, the Proact, next month. Nearly 3,500 people are now members of the Dirty Stop Outs Guide to 1980s Chesterfield Facebook group and Neil Anderson is now writing a follow up book on 1970s Chesterfield. Tickets for EIGHTIES! THE BIGGEST REUNION... EVER! are £7 each and can be purchased from acmretro (with free postage) or CFC ticket line on 01246 209765 ext. 4162. The event is raising money for Ashgate Hospice.
