Disappointing that this picture is being shared on womens rights blog. Supermodels breast feed their babies, and that is amazing and should be shared and celebrated, but this image is doing nothing to help with the battle to normalize breastfeeding in our culture! Nor is it an intimate moment between the mother and the child. She is connecting with the camera, naked on a couch, while her infant just so happens to be attached to her breast. Chances are that when her hair and makeup team is not there she nurses in the same yoga pants shes been wearing for days with her hair in a sloppy pony tail, looking at her new baby and drinking in all the wonder that he is. Thats where the powerful image would have been. Thats the breastfeeding supermodel I want to see... Not a pinup with a baby accessory - because breastfeeding is BEAUTIFUL and no photoshop is required!
