Disaster can be managed if we have a special task force. It should consist of people who are trained in managing all kinds of natural calamities. An emergency should be declared and all available resources in the country like transport, food, medicine, ambulance, doctors, should be made available on priority to this task force, if we are really serious about providing relief to the citizens in hardship. No doubt our military is capable enough to do this job but why should we spare our army. What if there is also a war going on at the same time? No politician should be allowed to visit place of disaster as they are a nuisance & a source of hindrance. Instead the politicians should be sent to border at times of war, to see if the army is having all the necessary facilities to mobilise their men, to see that the ration reaches in time, to see and console those injured and those in action. If the politician dies at the border he will become a martyr & will be respected after death. We can celebrate his birthday & death anniversary and enjoy few more national holidays. What say?
