Discipleship Series; 14 June, 2013 Act 2:22, Ye men of Israel, - TopicsExpress

Discipleship Series; 14 June, 2013 Act 2:22, Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know, (NKJV). Yesterday we established the fact that Jesus Christ is the Creator, closely related to that is the fact that Jesus Christ is the miracle Worker. This fact is acknowledged and corroborated by other religions. The works of creation are miracles; bring things out of nothing. The Bible says that, ‘in the beginning, the world was without form (shapeless) and void (empty)’, Genesis 1:2. But the miracle Worker brought out all that is in the earth from the emptiness. The miracle Worker performed some outstanding miracles recorded in the Scriptures. In John 9:1-7, Jesus Christ met a man who was born blind, but started seeing after his encounter with Jesus Christ. In Luke 7:11-18, Christ Jesus met a widow, whose only son died and was being taken for burial, but after the encounter – the boy returned home with his mother alive. Mark 5 recorded a handful of miracles for us, but let us stick with verses 25-34, when a woman whom doctors had tried all they could for, but did not get better, rather grew worse came in contact with the miracle Worker – she was instantly healed. John 6:1-13, Jesus Christ, the miracle worker fed five thousand (5,000) men, without counting women and children with the lunch of a little boy (five loaves of bread and two fishes), and had twelve (12) baskets as leftover! How did He perform these miracles? I cannot explain, and I am sure no human can; miracles cannot be explained. If they can be explained, then they are no more miracles. I bring you good news today, are you facing a problem defying all solutions and logic? Are you ‘boxed’ into a corner? Have doctors given you an unfavourable report? All you need is an encounter with the miracle Worker and things will change for good for you. But God does not usually give His miracles to those who are not His. If you belong to God, then His miracles are yours for the asking. Prayer: Elohim (Eternal Creator), I pray You visit my whole life with Your creative and miracle working power in Jesus’ name. Amen. Have a miraculous Friday. God bless and be with you. Visit this link to see past articles; groups.yahoo/group/discipleshipseries/
