Disclaimer: George Harrison is my favorite Beatle. 1) I love the songs he wrote while in the group 2) I feel his sense of humor is close to mine 3) Lennon and McCartney cast a huge shadow on the band its hard to pick between the two. That said, after watching this I have an irrational hatred of people picking Lennon who probably couldnt tell you what songs he wrote in the band (ahem Justin Bieber). From now on Im gonna be a vigorous defender of McCartneys work in the Beatles because while the cool answer is always Lennon, Sir Pauls sense of melody and songwriting are the things that immediately come to mind when I think of the Fab Four. I love Lennons songs as well (I wont take in account their solo work, which both has their high and low points), but everyone will say him anyway so thanks to this video Im going on a pro-McCartney stance
