Discover the Secret To Relationship Compatibility The secret to relationship compatibility is not finding the `Right Person`, it is having the `Right Person` find you! Since relationship compatibility forms the core for our general happiness, to what extent should we go to find, or foster a relationship? When we consider such terrible infidelity and divorce rates and the failure of so many relationships, do we dare try something more basic, and go deeper? It does seem that the traditional avenues of finding a mate, such as the following, seldom work – if ever: ■Speed Dating – (Don’t even know where to go with this source) ■Friend’s recommendation – (we all get in so much trouble from the advice of well-meaning friends) ■Family recommendation – (did your mom’s suggestions ever work out, ever?) ■Ex’s recommendation (wow, that is playing with fire) So, where does that leave us? Well, one reasonable source is to look at dating sites. You know, they do claim great successes. Every TV commercial shows these smiling happy couples – each beaming at each other so blissfully in total love compatibility that you would swear something wonderful just happened a few minutes ago. So, you could try that! Here is another thought. Suppose instead of looking at outside sources, you begin by looking at yourself. You know, there is an old saying, “Let success find you”. Just for a thought; suppose you examined – really examined – yourself. What would you find? 1.Would you find a confident person? 2.Would you find an interesting person? 3.Would you find a person who really likes herself (without being egotistical, that is)? 4.Would you find an individual who is interested in many things – and therefore is interesting to visit with? 5.Would you find a person who is truly interested in other people? You know, to expand a bit on item #5 above: One fine day, I was visiting with a somewhat well-known politician, and he made a fascinating comment. He said, “You know the difference between you and me? The difference is that when you ask a person – how they are doing, you really care.” Wow – now there is an admission that he probably wouldn’t want his constituents to hear, and yet he is no different from most people. You know, the type that says, “Let’s get together for lunch, soon”, and you know that that is never going to happen. But, it does seem somewhat like sincerity – but not enough to fool you. So, what does this have to do with finding love compatibility with that special person you are looking for? Well, it has everything to do with that search.
