Discussion on “Consultation on Self Assessment Report: Evaluator’s Training on Quality Education in Higher Education” held at Daffodil International University A discussion session on “Consultation on Self Assessment Report: Evaluator’s Training on Quality Education in Higher Education” was held on November 17, 2014 at DIU conference room organized by Educational Quality Assurance Foundation Bangladesh and Daffodil International University. It may be mentioned here that being instructed and nominated by Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of ETE and Additional Director of IQAC of HEQEP Project of UGC, has participated the face-to-face training session of the “Training of the Evaluators-Quality Assurance in Higher Education”, on 5th and 6th November 2014 at United International University (UIU), Dhaka which was organized by “Educational Quality Assurance Foundation” (equaf.org), the first-ever national organization for evaluating quality education in Bangladesh. Prof. Dr. Barbara Juergens and Dr. Gisela Nagel- two world famous educational quality evaluators from Germany were the training facilitators. On the basis of that training Prof. Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of ETE prepared a report which was presented yesterday at the discussion session. Professor Dr. S M Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Acting Vice Chancellor &Dean, FSIT, Professor Dr. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Controller of Examination & Proctor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maboob Ali, Faculty of Business and Economics, Mr. Md. Milan Khan, Librarian, Professor Dr. Kobirul Islam, Head, Department of MTCA of Daffodil International University were present at the discussion program. As a part of the training, both the training facilitators carried out a discussion session with respective academicians and officials of DIU on the “Self Assessment Report” of the Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
