Discussions like this go on in washington DC, and in every states Congresses as well, always having to fight for a few million dollars for the benefit of human rights, health, nutrition, and the merest of dignity in American citizens lives. Olive branches are hard to come by. Nearly 40% of the U.S. fiscal budget is spent on defense. And now there are tanks and raid supplies are being stacked all around in U.S. cities. They know the protesters will be back with greater force in the next wave. We are living in a police state! Politicians that really try are real gogetters, like Bernie Sanders. He understands that citizens need help. Those who continue to rail against just plain common good of citizens eventually will be voted out for good. I think the people will come back to protesting. They need to set their government straight, and have no tolerance for ignoring domestic issues that matter.
