Disgusting White saviourism today from self-proclaimed water warrior and Detroit Water Brigade organizer Justin Wedes. A young girl who is literally already standing up for herself at a protest doesnt need White saviours standing up for her #thankyouverymuch. Today a group of folks from Occupy Wall Street in NYC released a statement ( bit.ly/1nMFqf2 ) condemning his self-promotion, his authoritarian actions and his disregard for group decisions.
