Disillusioned... I think I am losing faith in many things. I am a woman of a certain age (early 40s). I have been married and divorced. Ive dated throughout different stages of my life and I honestly looked forward to a more mature dating experience. My experiences are by no means limited to this page, Im just venting a bit. But.... Men are not what I expected them to be at all. They expect certain things right out of the gate. Not a prude but would like to know you better before we go there. They are what I would call serial daters which is fine, I dont expect exclusivity after a single date but what really gets me is how much they cant keep it straight. Youll get text messages or phone calls and then when you say youre confused theyll tell you point blank it was for another woman. What? You make what you think is a great connection, have a great date, then they disappear. What? You get told youre a second choice if this thing they have with someone else doesnt work out. What? I dont think this single life is for me at all.
