Dispur has decided to initiate legal action for contempt of court against organisations calling bandhs on a day the 12-hour Assam bandh called by the Northeast unit of Bajrang Dal affected normal life in the state. Asom Muslim Autonomous Council Demand Committee, has called another 12-hour Assam bandh on November 3 against alleged attempts by Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad to brand the entire Muslim community as terrorists
