District 41/43 TAFE Dinner The District 41/43 Annual TAFE Dinner was held at the Kurri Kurri Campus of Technical and Further Education on the night of Monday 2nd June, 2014. The attendance was slightly down on last year, but that didnt stop those present enjoying a wonderful social event highlighted by a superbly cooked and presented three course meal. The meal was prepared by students of the cooking classes and delivered to the table by the students of the hospitality classes. Red and white wines on the table were produced by the wine making class where wines are blended from grapes grown at the campus and other NSW vineyards. Rt. Wor. Bro. Ken Burns welcomed everybody and informed us of the order of the night’s proceedings. Further words of welcome and thanks for attendance were given by the DGIW, V. Wor. Bro Gary Herrett. At the end of the evening the cooking class came out of the kitchen and were introduced by their Supervisor. Together with the table waiting staff, they were given the honours of the night, namely enthusiastic applause.
