Disturbing to say the least. And quite embarrassing. I mean to be kicked out of the UN for fraud and dupery. I cant even begin to imagine that its 5th from the top with Pakistan, Somalia, North Korea, and Iraq. These countries corruption is the outcome of an intractable unstable govt they seem to have in common but not the Phil. And yet the Phil. citizens continue on with life like someone living in la-la land. As long as their own small world is working like a charm to H*** with the rest. I seem to be getting that impression when Im there. Each individual/family/community braising for themselves. But the reality is any country whos foundation is under-girded by corruption, has no common goal, and whos people are fragmented because of personal ambitions will probably eventually end up like Pakistan, Somalia, N. Korea, or Iraq for real.
