Diversity of Tactics is a very tough thing for even fellow activists to accept and respect. Our education system is doing a great job of training the masses to be obedient, the majority are either too far gone to help or they arent in a place in their life to connect with and fight for things greater than themselves - yet. So its the few that will make the changes even if another group of few may not like it - we are going towards the same goal. Different methods, micro changes, massive protests, and all. Its about what each individual feels is realistically achievable, and how far theyd go to attain that goal. Yea, burning coal/oil/gas for energy makes up about 2/3 of the greenhouse gas emissions contributing directly to climate change... Yea, borders/nationalism/nation states are deadly and not serving human or any other life well... Yea, taxes are theft especially when that person doesnt agree with their use ::cough:: war not authorized by congress or paid for ::cough::... Yea, our currency is just paper (fiat) backed by the future capital our labor will create, and the fractional banking system with its thin-air money is insane and will pop eventually... Yea, corporations and the wealthy are paying zero to the smallest theyve ever paid in taxes, theyre sending money into tax havens, and just hoarding digital money like crazy cat people collect cats... Yea, we all are passionate about certain things over others. Get out there and do something about them instead of putting down someone elses efforts. You want to smash a window at Walmart because theyre one of the biggest receivers of corporate welfare with an average $1.4 Billion in safety net services going to its poverty wage paid employees PER STORE? Heck yes, have at it...who am I to tell another free person what to do? Instead, Ill be at a Board of Education meeting blasting about Common Core, standardized tests, funding going to for-profit corps, how using so much didactic instruction and testing in pre-k through 3rd grade is harmful, and much more. See you out there.
