Divine Feelings (1) - Ezekiel 9:1-11 Today, we will visit an important subject called divine feelings: what God feels over His word, over the world and in specific life situations. Any Christian that will mean much to God in these last days must develop divine feelings. The man that will not be a push aside in God’s kingdom must have divine feelings. If you look at the text of today, Ezekiel 9, the Lord said that the man should mark everyone that was unhappy, with the abomination that was happening in Jerusalem. These days that evil men have gone from bad to worse, God is seeking Christians that will not keep silent about the immoralities and the sin that has pervaded the nations of the world. God is calling you to a responsibility to cry out, and not keep silent and remain indifferent about the sinfulness that is in the world today. Several people don’t care, as long as they get their salaries, they are making money, their children are in school, they don’t care about the life that people are living around them, and if you look at the text again, it says let the destruction start from the sanctuary, i.e. from the midst of the people of God, anyone that is not angry about the life of sin that people are living, such a person has inadvertently become a collaborator with those people in their sinfulness. God wants you to display a flag of righteousness wherever you are and say “No”to the corruption that is in the world today, even in the church of God. Titus 2:11-12 says “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly, in this present world”. This means that if the sinfulness of the people around you is not causing you to cry and speak out, then you are not expecting the Lord to return for you. And I tell you, if the Bible remains so, there is a measure of destruction that is coming upon such Christians that keep quiet with evil doers so make sure that that divine feeling that God is speaking about in Ezekiel chapter 9 arises up in your heart today, that you will not keep silent until righteousness prevails everywhere you find yourself. Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the neutrality of heart anywhere I have kept quiet over the sinfulness around me, Lord forgive me. From today, I commit to speaking up against unrighteousness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
