Divine intervention happens to me on race weekend Seriously. Tonight I had the usual call from the mom of a Miracle Match Kid. First the weather question. Then she asked why the check should be written to the SW Marrow Donor Program, so I launched into our cause. Her son had a transplant at less than a year old, after they had been told they should let him go. He met his donor a year later. He is running with us Saturday morning as a healthy 8 year old.
