Dixie June has made it out of surgery and the blockage was not entirely the chews as suspected. It was from her normal “rebel diet” of the occasional piece of sock, dacron from a stuffed animal, etc.....but the deadly component was some type of string/cording and cant figure out what it was (yet) but it more or less fused everything in one long mass between her stomach and her small intestines. So FB Family and Friends also please be cautious of anything stringy like hair bands, bracelets, rubber bands, carpet strings, etc.... They had to make three very serious incisions to my little girl to release this mass in her small little body. The next 24 hours are crucial…..they gave her a 50/50 chance after we get through the night and she’ll be under their care till the weekend! Please love your little furry friends for me and say an extra prayer for my little wild girl that I love so much!
