Do Mechanics’ cars break down? Another Preacher has - TopicsExpress

Do Mechanics’ cars break down? Another Preacher has apparently committed suicide! He was a presiding Bishop of a large movement numbering thousands of churches and millions of people. We dont know the details and particulars of the events surrounding the suicide, but with all the depression and tension in the atmosphere across the culture and the planet, suicide, especially among professionals and people in high profile positions and the pressures associated with it, the growing pandemic of suicide is a subject we must openly discuss more. For many years now, statistics show that physicians have had the highest suicide rate compared to people in any other line of work. Is this surprising? Does this happen because doctors, not unlike ministers, are continually exposed to other peoples problems? There are actually more suicides than homicides in America every year. These are obviously very tense times for many and tension is the state of being stretched tight. It is a strained state or condition resulting from forces acting in opposition to each other. What battles are fighting or warring inside you and how are you managing and refereeing them and in what ways? Or are you? How must or should we face these facts, even preachers? Join me tomorrow night, 8:30-9:30pm (CST) at bishoppearson and we can tackle some of these delicate and sensitive issues and present some ways that meditation can do something medication cant and doesnt.
