Do NOT spend your $$$ at the pastry place hosted by the stage in front of the bank. I wish I could give you the name of the place for certain, I apologize that I cannot. She was astoundingly rude without provocation, talked down to me, and despite me doing my best to breech the divide she was unethically aggressive for absolutely no reason. The woman refused to allow Segen and I to pass behind her pastry tent, despite there being ample room, and public side walks remaining public through out the Italian Heritage Festival. Apparently, it was vastly more important that she play alpha dog seated in her camp chair with her gaggle of friends than to allow us safe passage around her seats. She said I needed to take my dog home as this is no place for dogs. I replied My dog is a service dog, please just let us pass so we dont have to fight stage traffic. She then said Welcome to Clarksburg-West Virginia, we grow them big here. I replied Im a LOCAL. I have not been rude to you there isnt a reason for you to treat me like this. So, I see there are still wretched neanderthals here in Clarksburg, WV! Sorry to ANYONE else who has had to deal with such a horrid attitude here in my beloved home town. I can assure you we are NOT all that way! Directly after this conflict I saw Councilman Malfregeot and his wife safely returned from their vacation in the Napa Valley. This is a SMALL TOWN, treat your neighbors well!
