Do You Play A Brass Instrument ? The Oxted Brass Band is a friendly group of amateur musicians who meet every Tuesday in Hurst Green. We have two bands: a Training Band for young musicians of school age and a Senior Band. We love to entertain but equally importantly we love to encourage musicians of any standard to develop their skills through playing with others in a supportive environment. I joined the Band last year and felt well out of my depth at first. No-one minded. They were used to people like me and knew how to gently encourage me in a way that developed my confidence and improved my playing. We always welcome new players.
