Do You know who was ALFONSO ESPARZA OTEO? Alfonso Esparza Oteo is considered one of the most romantic Mexican composers of the early twentieth century. Born in the city of Aguascalientes, which was the railway center of the Mexican Republic, on August 2, 1891. Son of Luis Esparza performer piano and organ and Concepcion Oteo. Alfonsos father was his first music teacher music who thought him theory, organ and piano. Alfonso Esparza Oteo as organist presented his first recital at the church of San Jose in Aguascalientes at 12 years old, beginning as early composer also, incidentally with little success, to orient these towards religious themes. In concluding his basic studies was discharged in the Heroic Military College of the City of Mexico. When the revolutionary movement in Mexico started, the young Esparza Oteo joined the revolutionary forces often warlord on the North: Francisco Villa.
