Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is— his good, pleasing and perfect will. —Romans 12:2 (NIV) We are not to follow after the ways of this world. As children of God, He calls us to be different. We are called to be in this world, but not of this world. We are new creatures in Christ and we are to renew our minds according to the Word of God. When we think according to Gods Word, we will be transformed to be more like Jesus. As our minds are renewed, we will walk according to His Spirit and not according to our flesh. Little by little, old ways of thinking are replaced with the knowledge and truth of God. It is a process that eventually encompasses every area of our lives. When we are transformed, the beauty of the Lord shines through us and attracts others with a desire to know the Lord, Jesus Christ. And we live a life of abundance, peace and joy, in the Lord. Open up His Word, renew your mind and be transformed.
