Do not count it a church where people pretend to be who they are not. Do not count it a church where few lord over many. Do not count it a church where self is elevated and the Holy Spirit is pushed aside. Do not count it a church where people play eye service and backbite. Do not count it a church where the minister fails to be blunt with the truth and calls it diplomacy. Do not count it a church where there is rancour, hatred, pretence, ill feeling, and yet they assemble to praise God, pretending things are alright. Do not count it a church where people supposedly believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit but denies His works, moves and power. Do not count it a church where leaders are chosen based on sentiments, money, association, connection, affiliation and self interest. Do not count it a church where people are placed in positions of authority without waiting on God in prayer and fasting. Do not count in church where matters are administered with the secular philosophy and training. Do not count it a church where the men in collar do not have the final say. Do not count it a church where pregnant ladies are joined in holy matrimony because her parents are influential. Do not count it a church where the men in collar are not revered, honoured and seen as God’s mouth piece. Do not count it a church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not manifesting. Do not count it a church where there is no revelational knowledge from the throne of God. Do not count it a church where people take the message of God with a pinch of salt. Do not count it a church where members use politics to get things done and see nothing wrong with it. Do not count it a church where leaders and members are not hungry and thirsty for God’s presence. Do not count it a church where people are afraid of change. Do not count it a church where their leaders cannot pray, teach God’s Word and find it impossible, to attend Church programmes. Do not count it a church where their leaders sit at home or in their offices while those they are supposed to lead are in the church. Do not count it a church where personal beliefs and doctrines are given priority or placed higher than the Word of God and His Spirit. Do not count it a church where there is strife, malice, unforgiveness, intimidation and envy among ministers, leaders and members. Do not count it a church where God is just the head in principle but not the head in practice. Do not count it a church where there is no true love, unity, equality, vision, purpose and the Holy Spirit. Do not count it a church where the minister is related with as a figure head. Do not count it a church where focus is on materialism and ephemeral issues at the expense of the spiritual, life building and eternal matters.
