Do our lodges exist to enable growth of the individual or of the craft? If an individual grows, he learns and moves toward enlightenment. If the craft or a lodge grows, it is enlarged by numbers. Both the individual and the craft, or lodge have exoteric structure in nature. But only the individual has a soul, and/or a consciousness to be developed. Therefore, anything other that the focus on the individual mason is not development, it is simple addition.
